Da
pochi giorni sono affissi per tutta la Gran Bretania più di 30.000
cartelloni pubblicitari che propongono opere artistiche, un grande
progetto voluto da Art Everywhere http://arteverywhere.org.uk/
Un
modo immediato di diffondere l’arte attraverso un media quotidiano,
a cui si affiancheranno anche tabelloni elettronici delle pensiline
dei bus, spazi di proiezione, che sicuramente verrà in contatto con
un vasto pubblico.
Per
l’evento sono stati selezionati noti artisti, tra cui Grayson
Perry, Antony Gormley. La selezione delle opere è avvenuta
attraverso un uso dei media quali facebook dove sono state
selezionate le opere da esporre.

Art Everywhere is a collaborative project presented by the out of home industry led by Clear Channel, Exterion Media and JCDecaux, including Ocean Outdoor, Storm and Outdoor Plus. Founding partners are Richard Reed (co-founder of Innocent Drinks), the Art Fund, Tate, creative agency 101, Posterscope, Vizeum, Easyart and Facebook, with additional support from Vue Cinemas.
With 38,000 public votes and the help of some of the finest UK curators and creatives, the nation’s favourite art from the UK's public collections, forms this vast nationwide exhibition from 21 July-31 August 2014. Art Everywhere is the largest outdoor exhibition with thousands of poster sites and billboards up and down the country celebrating a summer of art. Artists, curators, media owners and entrepreneurs joined by a love of art have fuelled this massive charitable celebration.
