A Petite Fair is a small scale nomadic art fair initiated by Jeanine Hofland in 2012 and annually takes place in a gallery somewhere on the globe. For a weekend the hosting gallery functions as a platform for ambitious international galleries, each presenting projects between the walls, pillars and corners of the space. This year’s edition is organized with Frutta, and takes place in its gallery space in Rome from 26 until 28 September 2014. Alongside the gallery presentations, APF aims to collaborate with local initiaves. This year CURA. Magazine will be the media partner.
The first two editions of APF took place in the gallery of Jeanine Hofland and included presentations by Apice for Artists (Amsterdam), Barbara Seiler (Zurich), Boetzelaer|Nispen (Amsterdam), Carlos/Ishikawa (London), Cole (London), Frutta (Rome), Kendall Koppe (Glasgow), KLEMM’s (Berlin), Norma Mangione (Turin), Peter Amby (Copenhagen), Ricou (Brussels) and Rod Barton (London).
